Limor Amrani completed her Master’s degree in Business Taxation from University of Southern California in 2017. Limor is also a UCLA magna-cum-lade graduate (…with a higher GPA than her boss!) where she attained her B.A. in Business Economics with a minor in Accounting along with a successful completion of the College Honors program at UCLA in 2006.

Limor has been recognized and awarded by Congress, California Legislature Assembly, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, County of Los Angeles, and City of Los Angeles for her accounting services to the Orthodox Jewish Chaplaincy Board. Limor has also recently been named as Top 100 Accountants in the Los Angeles Business Journal.

At Manela & Co, Limor has had a broad array of accounting experience, such as preparation, review, and management of financial reports, federal income tax returns, multi-state income apportionment and allocation, intricate 1031 exchanges, payroll tax returns, sales tax returns, property tax exemptions, entity formation and dissolution, and non-profit exemptions and reinstatement. Limor has developed firm-wide tax strategies and policies and has provided training and guidance for other CPAs that have joined the firm. More recently, Limor has assisted clients in obtaining large refunds due to the CARES ACT’s retroactive 5-year NOL carryback provision. Limor has also prepared memorandums for clients determining their eligibility for the Employer Retention Credit. 

Prior to joining Manela & Co., Limor was an Advisory Compliance Intern at National Planning Corporation as well as an Investment Accounting Intern at Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors. At these institutions, she facilitated the creation of new IRA accounts, processed applications for investments, and assisted with investment financing projects involving hedge funds as well as other accounting projects.
